Xbox Kinect is motion controlled fun family Entertainment

If you are a video game addict, then Microsoft's latest Xbox Kinect will have you hooked. Recently displayed to the media and public, this game will have many followers when it is launched in the market. The ultimate selling factor is the fact that it does not need any controls to play and your body movements and gestures decide the progress of the game.

Technology

Xbox Kinect games work on movement, gestures, voice, and face recognition. It has a camera, audio and motion sensor technology. It consists of a slim device similar to a web cam, which can be directly plugged into the Xbox 360 console.

Gaming is literally a child's play in the Xbox Kinect, as you can forget about remembering which buttons to press or about holding a joystick or even a small remote. It tracks you body movements so you get pure entertainment as you jump, dance, move, or steer an imaginary steering wheel, matching your avatar on the screen. Your body movements are tracked by a sensor.

You can simply point to the screen to select a new game or services, video chat with others playing the game and share photos.

Variety Of Games

The selection of games in Xbox Kinect promises to win many passionate gamers. Some of the games are not yet officially named. Tai Chi and Yoga and Soccer are waiting to be formally named. Joyride is played by steering your car on the screen with your hands. There is Kinect Sports, which has boxing, bowling, beach volleyball, track and field, soccer, and table tennis.

Kinect Adventures is about exciting river rafting where you jump to go over the rapids and waterfalls. Dance Central, a dance-em-up game by MTV, will score points as well as games using Disney and Star Wars characters.

Xbox Kinect is still in the process of progress as many more games will be unveiled by Microsoft soon. It will certainly win popularity votes among families, as it has something for everybody. the technology kinect uses makes me wonder whatever next. the sensor has great accuracy, even when stepping aside to change players, Xbox was not fooled. We bought the kinect bundle and two games cheaper from here. Yes, I would recommend Kinect to a friend.
